Refund Policy
Last updated 19 July 2026
This is a plain-language summary; if it and the full policy below ever disagree, the policy wins.
What you are buying
Extended Card, seals, and skins are each a single one-time charge. Nothing renews, nothing bills again, and there is no subscription to cancel. What you receive is a licence to display the item on your card, described in our Terms of Service.
Because these are digital items delivered to your account immediately, we sell them non-refundable as a rule. We are telling you this before you buy, which is the point of this page.
The general rule
Fees are non-refundable, except at our discretion and except where the law or our payment processor requires otherwise. That includes where an account is suspended or terminated for breaking the Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, and where a cosmetic is later changed, retired, or discontinued.
But ask anyway
The rule above is what protects a small team from being taken apart by bad-faith requests. It is not how we want to treat someone with a real problem.
If you were charged twice, if something did not unlock, if the item was not what the page said it was, if you bought the wrong thing, or if you simply have a good reason, write to contact@curltact.com and tell us what happened. We will look at it and we will often just refund you. Please include the email address you used at checkout and roughly when you bought, so we can find the transaction.
Who actually processes your refund
Payments on curltact are made through Paddle.com Market Limited (“Paddle”), our authorised reseller and merchant of record. That means your purchase contract is with Paddle, not with us. Paddle takes the payment, issues your receipt, handles the tax, and processes any refund.
You can approach either of us. Contact us and we will work with Paddle, or contact Paddle directly using the details on your receipt. Your purchase is also governed by Paddle's buyer terms.
Rights we cannot take away from you
Some countries give consumers rights that no policy of ours can override, and we are not going to pretend otherwise:
- European Union. Paddle's buyer terms give you a 14-day right of withdrawal on a purchase. Note that this right can be lost once you begin using a digital item within that period, which for a cosmetic means equipping it on your card.
- United Kingdom and elsewhere. If your local consumer law gives you a cancellation or refund right, that right applies in addition to this policy, whatever this page says.
Where Paddle or your local law requires a refund, you get the refund. This policy does not attempt to sit above either.
Before you charge back
Please talk to us first. A chargeback costs a small team a fee and a dispute-handling process on top of the refunded amount, and almost every case we have seen would have been solved by an email.
Starting a chargeback without first contacting us or Paddle is a breach of our Terms of Service. We may suspend or terminate the account, provide Paddle and your card issuer with evidence of the purchase and your use of the Service, and decline to serve you in future. None of that is anyone's preferred outcome. Email us instead and we will sort it out.
The free tier
The free card costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. It stays live at no cost, subject to the Terms and our right to change or discontinue any part of the Service.
